I was procrastinating on my work a few minutes ago and decided to hit up Facebook. I somehow ended up on the page of an old high school friend who moved to the midwest after graduation.
Looking through the pictures of her road trip to her parent’s house gave me this deep and sudden urge to go grab Blaise, buy a touring bike and ride across the country. His parents have done it a number of times, and judging from their pictures, it would be pretty amazing.
While NYC is where it’s at and the center of the world and all that, I find myself really drawn to the idea of visiting (if not living someday…shhh) in the midwest.
Maaaaaaybe someday.
